In continuation of its philanthropic and humanitarian efforts, Talo Skibo Foundation today, 3rd June, 2023, presented cash gift and food items to Out of school children home in Oshodi.
The orphanage home, whose name is Out of School Children Empowerment Foundation, specializes in locating and picking vulnerable children roaming around the street with no where to stay. They house and rehabilitate them before enrolling them to school to acquire education so as to be useful to themselves and the society.
Presenting the cash gift and food items was Alhaji Taoreed Adedigba, popularly called Talo Skibo. He said he has been assisting the home for over five years and commended the efforts of the management team for their selfless service and dedication to humanity. He pleaded with other well to do individuals within Oshodi to come to the aid of the home so that they can better cater for the children.
He said; "I am here this morning to present cash gift and some food items to the out of school children home. The managers of this home have been very helpful in locating children that have no where to stay off the street. Some of these children are orphans and some of them are from other states. The home will house them, provide for their needs and also enrol them to school.
This is a token from our foundation and I urge other people to extend support to them to encourage them and also enable them do more."
Receiving the items on behalf of the Foundation was Mrs Tunrayo Kilani, the Assistant Director of the home. She expressed her gratitude to Talo Skibo Foundation and appreciated the continuous efforts of the foundation towards the success of the home and rehabilitation of the children. She corroborated Alhaji Adedigba in requesting for more support from the general public as regards their accommodation and other items needed by the children".
Giving the votes of thanks on behalf of other children in the home was Miss Alimat Olokode, who is currently writing her WAEC, courtesy of the Foundation, she appreciated Talo Skibo foundation and prayed for more blessings.
